We'd also like to thank Green Room Staff Members Shirley Ouw for transcribing for some guests and Dot Owen, for backrubs and providing online color commentary between chats.
Further thanks to Pat Sayre McCoy, Green Room Director, for making space for chats and Steven Silver, Program Director, for liking the idea in the first place.

| Because the Green Room was not locked for the duration of Chicon, it was necessary to set-up and break-down the chat area daily. We usually arrived at around 8:00 am and set up on a dining-room height table, hooking the laptops into a small hub. Similarly, we pulled everything apart and carted it out of the room at 9 to 11 pm, after the last chat of the evening. We commandeered about 7 chairs for our area, as we found stacking two put a medium sized woman at a better height in relation to the keyboard. We got half of what needed to be done right, in that the computers were portable and easily moved.

Matt Moon of Jackhammer eZine demonstrates what a 6 foot plus man confronted when attempting to join us in chats. This is the half of the set-up we didn't get right. Hopefully at future Worldcons we'll be able to provide keyboards, chairs and a typing surface which are scaled to better accommodate the human body.
Another stumbling block was the fact that each keyboard was different. We still haven't found the tilde on the 3rd laptop.
