Beth Gwinn, who resides in Nashville, Tennessee, has been self-employed as a free-lance photographer for the past 18 years. Her work has been published in Us Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, People, Life, and numerous other publications. Though most of her work is in the country music industry, most of Science Fiction's authors and a number of the artist have been in front of her lens at one time or another.

Her interest in photographing Science Fiction and Fantasy personalities began because she is a reader. She's been doing work with Locus since 1984. She is currently at work on a book project with Stanley Wiater, about the people in Horror.
